A moderate epiphany

To parent means to provide a place of safety when the world seems overwhelming.

Algo sent me this first thing this morning…

Some depression has visited recently. Dark days, indeed. I may have found a course redirection.

I’ve written at length about lessons that came to me early. Specifically through John Bradshaw’s series on PBS in 1987. More specifically than that came the quote “he who grieves well lives well for life is a constant farewell”. I hung on to that one because I knew that I would need for the research. It’s time.

We’ve all heard the metaphor of our soul is akin to an onion. We must peel back the layers of warped thoughts in order to get to the good. I believe the center of the onion the core of my soul is a little piece that I carry of the Divine. The little piece of God that every one of us carries. As I’ve spent half of a lifetime peeling back the layers of my particular onion learning to cope with the world as a whole, my professional life, my friends that I’m closest with, my family, my lovers, myself, I’ve come to believe that the center of the core is divine. The first layer outside of the Divine is sexuality. The core level intimacy that we must understand and embrace and resolve in order to live from the Divine as daily foundation.

Moments ago the path became slightly clearer. I wish to pursue a process of hypnosis. Where I can explore the inner workings of my mind and soul and find the nuggets of corrupted principles and values and belief systems. Then possibly, once I find the origin of these perverted perspectives, then maybe pursue using either hallucinogens or EMDR as a proactive path to profound integration.
